Supervised Care Programs at the Curtis Home

For seniors who are in need of supportive services to remain independent, but who neither want nor require traditional nursing care, we offer our Residential Care Home. Our Residential Care Home combines the yesteryear charm of its late 19th century architecture with services which make life today easier, safer and more carefree.

Our programs and services include:

Private rooms in a Victorian setting, furnished as each resident chooses.

Assistance with personal care needs.

Daily dining in a lovely Victorian dining room, with a full waitress service.

An inspirational and peaceful chapel where residents may attend organized worship and prayer services, or pause for a quiet moment of personal reflection.

Housekeeping and laundry services.

Full service barber/beauty shop.

Sweeping front porch, complete with chairs for rocking, adjacent to a secure, outdoor walking and social area.

Planned activities such as shopping trips, wine and cheese parties, bingo, card games, movies, arts and crafts, and access to activities outside our campus.

Access to medical clinics and services, including dental care.

Nurses and physicians on call for unexpected needs 24 hours-per-day.

Financial assistance programs.

Crown Terrace Apartment residents who require temporary or ongoing personal assistance in order to remain independent may now enroll in The Curtis Home's "Supportive Care" program. This innovative program brings all the necessary services right to the resident in his or her apartment.
