Since
its inception by Lemuel Curtis in 1884, The Curtis Home has lived up to
the ideals and goals originally established by Curtis to provide solace,
through housing, for widows and orphans.
Today,
The Curtis Home works steadfastly to operate by its mission and guiding
principle of providing support to the elderly in its care to assist them in pursuing their highest level of independence.
The daily operations of The Curtis Home are enhanced in large part by
contributions from the larger community. Through generous donations
from corporations and individuals, The Curtis Home is able to expand and
enhance the programs it offers to the elderly of Greater Meriden,
Wallingford, Cheshire and Connecticut.
We share the commitment to protect, support
and enhance the lives of those in our care. The Curtis Home
provides more than just shelter for those in need. We provide a family and we invite you
to become part of The Curtis Home Family.
