We provide a secure environment where independent residents meet personalized attention, with dignity and compassion. 

Independent Living

Private rooms with community bathrooms and showers.  All rooms are furnished with a bed, mattress and dresser.  Residents are encouraged to bring in additional furniture and personal belongings.

Daily meals prepared under the guidance of a Registered Dietician.  Recreation programs and entertainment, commona areas with large screen TVs and outdoor spaces.

Support Services

On site medication management, diagnostice services and behavior health counseling and treatment.  Partnerships with area providers for day programs.

Admission

The Home for the Aged is licensed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health as a Residential Care Home.

  • The Home for the Aged accepts Private Pay and Medicaid (Title XIX) for payment.   

  • Resident are required to maintain Medicaid eligibility for their continued stay.
